Whistler in Fall

As often happens, a visitor in October prompted us to do a little extra sightseeing around the beautiful city of Vancouver. Luckily we had a few days of beautiful sunny weather before the rains set in again. We have been to Whistler in November last year, but it was snowing and the leaves were all gone, so it felt like a different season. We have also been at the start of Summer (don’t be fooled, there is still snow!) and in Spring to go skiing.

As you can see, the colours at Whistler in October are amazing! Definitely worth a visit.

It was very quiet – the Peak to Peak had shut down a week or two earlier in preparation for the Winter season. There are still cross-country style mountain bikers and hikers around, as well as tourists and plenty of Aussies getting prepared for the upcoming ski season!

What time of year have you visited Whistler? What was your favourite?
