I went outside this morning to capture some snowflakes. Didn’t manage that, but I did capture some beautiful warm sunlight through the bare winter tree. This image looks much better with a dark background, so I have added a frame. Not sure how I feel about that though….
Need to work on those snowflakes! Any tips for me?

Dot – it was above 0C – that is super warm!!!! (compared to -8 – 10 that we have been experiencing up until then)

The framing accentuates the contents of the picture. So that works well.
Do you mean the focus on the snowflakes that need work?

Yep, the focus is the main point – I should have grabbed the tripod, but was feeling lazy. The second thing is my macro lens is only 60mm, so probably not quite enough zoom. I found one snowflake that was separate enough to photograph, but couldn’t get the focus without a tripod.
